  2. VeNicia,
Nice job! Fun to see the personal side of classmates....your wedding pics! As I said on the message board on the SUU site, blessed are those that can teach the younger children, I couldn't do it! It's good we all have our own niche! Your students are lucky you consider your job a hobby!

  3. Hi, I am in your SUU Leadership in Technology class. I am a first time blogger and am learning so much! I love your design on your blog. It just fits a second-grade classroom. It show so much personality. It is easy to see that you do love your job/hobby and kiddos too.

My daughter taught second grade and made the comment that she loved it so much that she was amazed that someone gets paid for it.

I believe that if a teacher shows love and compassion towards their students that they in turn will love the teacher and try to learn more. It makes classroom management so much easier.

Your personal photo was also endearing. Thanks so much for sharing and I wish you continued success with your job/hobby.

  4. I am in your SUU class and I was just looking at everyone's blog's. I really like your layout. It seems like this would fit nicely for a second grade class. It is very inviting.

I am looking forward to your future posts. Thanks.

  5. Thanks, guys! I appreciate your kind thoughts on the look/feel of the blog. I've got some learning to do on how to make certain things work out more how I'd like them, but it's up and running (a plus...) and I'll learn things as I go (I hope)!

I do want it to be inviting for kiddos, though some of the content is more for teachers. I'll have to decide and commit to which audience I'm more aiming toward...another time perhaps =o)
